With its decision dated 20 May 2021 and numbered 10223-1, the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) granted a 49-year production license for the İltek Energy Biomass Power Plant (BES) project.

In İltek BES, which has an operating capacity of 5MW, solid vegetal wastes such as forest wastes and agricultural harvest wastes are used as fuel. Annual electricity production capacity is approximately 26 Million kWh.
